Medical Equipment and Supplies donated in Africa

Latter-day Saint Charities, the humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently donated medical supplies and equipment to the Daboya Military Training School in Daboya Ghana. The donations will also go to help local villagers in need of medical care.

The donations were aimed at equipping the school with essential medical materials to help the recruits and local villagers.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC), Brigadier-General Moses Mohammed Aryee expressed appreciation to the Church for the kind gesture. He said the equipment and items would assist the school to deliver essential services to recruits and members of nearby communities. He recounted how challenging it was to send trainees 75 kilometres to Tamale for laboratory tests, and said the donation had "come to meet a real need of the school."
