Changes to Area Organization Advisers in the Africa Central Area

Two New Organization Advisers Sustained, four released

The Africa Central Area Presidency recently announced changes to the Area Organization Advisors in the Area. 

Sisters Stella Mary Ajilong (Kampala); Delphine Muzama (Lubumbashi); Sister Yeweinshet Bezu Biru (Addis Ababa); and Sister Claudelia Njampou (Douala) will be released effective March 31, 2024 after three years of faithful service.  In announcing the releases, the Africa Central Area Presidency expressed their appreciation for the love and commitment of these sisters to train and support the sister leaders in the Area.

In the same communication, the Area Presidency announced the calling of Sister Christianne Bankanina of Lubumbashi, DRC and Sister Celestine Mukuba of Mbuji-Mayi, DRC as new Area Organization Advisers effective April 1, 2024.  These newly called sisters join Sisters Angelique Tarr (Kinshasa), Vulfrida Simiyu (Nairobi) and Epiphanie Mabiala (Brazzaville) who will continue their service. 

Area Organization Advisers are Latter-day Saint women called to provide training and support to leaders of stake Relief Society, Young Women and Primary organization presidencies. They work under the direction of, and report directly to the Area Presidency.
