In earlier planning meetings between missionaries and local authorities, Mr. Nchor requested that the Church provide assistance with safety at the police checkpoints and barricades throughout the Central Region.  A similar project was done in 2023 at 7 barriers and barricades during the All-Africa Service Project.  On 17 August 2024 that previouis project was expanded and 135 missionaries from the Ghana Cape Coast Mission, along with 10 missionaries from the Accra West Mission, travelled to 11 locations throughout the Central Region of Ghana.  The missionaries cleaned and applied reflective tape to 179 police barriers and checkpoints.

The ACP, Mr. Francis Nchor said, “This project is being provided at a critical time for our police force.  Safety is a top concern for me especially during the evenings and early mornings.  This reflective tape will provide much needed visibility for vehicle operators and for the police who are stationed at these locations.”  President Morgan expressed gratitude for the opportunity to provide the needed assistance.  “We are all children of God, and we want to take good care of each other.  We also want to be good citizens in our communities.  We are grateful for this opportunity to assist our police force, and we pray for their safety and wellbeing.”

Also participating in the project were Elder Christian Chigbundu (Area Seventy) who was on assignment for the Ghana Twifu Praso District Conference, the Twifu Praso District President Frank Davies, and the Ghana Cape Coast Mission clerk Brother Charles Amoah.  All these leaders, who had assembled to conduct a district conference later that day, took time to participate with the missionaries in this service project.
