On 23rd December 2021, a four-member delegation from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Sylvia Naa Adaawa Annoh, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the Kingdom of Denmark in her offices in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The delegation was led by Steen Petersen, President of the Copenhagen Denmark Stake and included Brother Eilif Rosenkilde, National Director of Church Communication in Denmark; Elder Richard Kwesi Ahadjie, Area 70 of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Africa West Area; and Mrs. Emelia Ahadjie, Communication Director for the Church in the Africa West Africa, Accra, Ghana.
The major purpose of the visit was to strengthen the relationship between the Church and the Republic of Ghana through effective engagement of Ghana’s Ambassador to Denmark and bringing to her attention major initiatives of the Church with particular reference to initiatives for the People of Ghana.
In furtherance of the above, the following resolutions were reached at the meeting:
- Establish an open channel of communication between the Embassy and the Church;
- Organize inter-faith activities between the Church and the Ghanaian Community in Denmark;
- Extend the Church’s philanthropic activities in Ghana, through the donation of reading materials for the youth, toys for children, etc.
The meeting ended with the exchange of gifts between the Ambassador and her guests.
