Apostolic Counsel: Keeping Covenants and Trusting in God’s Love

The highlight of the conference was the address by Elder Christofferson, who bore a powerful witness of Jesus Christ and the sacred covenants we make with Him. He spoke with warmth and conviction, reminding the congregation that keeping our covenants is the key to unlocking the Lord’s greatest blessings.

“When we keep our covenants with the Lord, we invite His power into our lives. Even in times of trial, we can be assured that He is near, guiding and strengthening us.”

He emphasized that covenant-keeping is not just about obedience but about building a personal relationship with God. He urged members to honor their baptismal, priesthood, and temple covenants, knowing that in doing so, they bind themselves to the Lord, who will never fail them.

Imparting to Others: A Call to Serve

Another central theme of Elder Christofferson’s message was the importance of sharing our blessings with others. He referenced the words of King Benjamin in the Book of Mormon:

“When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God.” (Mosiah 2:17)

He encouraged members to seek opportunities to bless the lives of those around them by sharing the gospel and  through acts of kindness, financial assistance, or simply offering comfort and support. He reminded everyone that true discipleship requires action—a willingness to impart of our substance and love our neighbors as Christ loves us.

God Knows and Loves Us Individually

One of the most moving moments of Elder Christofferson’s address came when he testified of God’s deep and personal love for each of His children. He reassured the congregation that no one is forgotten, no prayer goes unheard, and no trial goes unnoticed by the Lord.

“You are known. You are loved. The Lord sees you, He understands your struggles, and He walks beside you every step of the way.”

His words touched the hearts of many, offering comfort and reassurance to those facing personal trials. He reminded everyone that God’s love is unwavering and that His plan for each of us is perfect, even when we do not fully comprehend it.

A Spirit of Renewal and Commitment

For many, this special stake conference was more than just a gathering—it was a sacred moment of instruction and spiritual upliftment, a powerful reminder that we are never alone and that the Lord continues to guide His Church through living prophets and apostles.

“Remain faithful to your covenants, bless others through your substance, and always remember that you are deeply known and loved by God.” – Elder Christofferson
