Imagine hearing in General Conference the Prophet announce a new temple to be built in your hometown. During the Sunday afternoon session, a new temple was announced to be built in Monrovia, Liberia for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Pride Andrews could only explain the feelings as “It is a great blessing for us and there are no words to express our gratitude, but we immediately gave thanks to our Maker.”
The Church was officially organized in Liberia in 1987. The first Stake was organized in 2016. And now the first temple is announced in October General Conference.
