Sierra Leone Sends Large Group To the Temple in Ghana

The Wellington Stake of Sierra Leone made a temple trip to Ghana.  Over 50 people made the 2,000 km (1,200 mile) journey to attend the temple.

The ancillary building on temple grounds was used to house the members while in Accra, Ghana. They filled the temple by doing sealings and endowments and baptisms for their kindred dead.

A sister shared, "it feels like we just arrived, but we have surpassed all our goals for this temple trip."  "We have also been able to see the Church in Ghana and feel the Spirit here as we do at home."

These Saints are excited about temple work and are getting ready to have their own temple in Sierra Leone.  The groundbreaking for the Freetown Sierra Leone temple was 19 March 2022.
