As of January 21, 2021, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has:

  • 170 dedicated temples, with two more scheduled for May dedications
  • 44 temples under construction
  • 49 announced temples

Of the 265 total temples, 83 have been announced by President Russell M. Nelson during his four years as Church president.

The map above shows the locations of the 19 temples of the Africa Central, Africa West and Africa South areas of the Church, identified by name and current status:

  • Announced
  • Under construction or scheduled for groundbreaking
  • Dedicated and operating or scheduled to be dedicated or rededicated
  • Dedicated but under renovation or scheduled for renovation
