The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Africa now has one website for all Church news on the continent: news-africa.churchofjesuschrist.org. This site publishes breaking news in English relevant to the entire region. Identical French and Portuguese Africa news websites will follow.
The English site merges news for Latter-day Saints and the public from seven websites in the Church’s Africa South, Central and West Areas. Those existing country-specific pages now redirect to this new hub for Church news in Africa.

The Africa Newsroom is the second of the Church’s consolidated news websites. The first, created in September 2020 for the faith’s Spanish speakers, is noticias.laiglesiadejesucristo.org. These websites are the official voice of the Church in these regions around the world.
