Two women have been newly called to the positions of Area Organization Advisers in the Africa Central Area; Sister Bibi Noel Ngalula Kabale, and Sister Rose Naisumba.
Area Organization Advisers are called to support leaders of the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary in areas where they reside throughout the world, providing instruction, mentorship and training.
These women also participate in area councils where they work together in unity with the men and women of the Church in their area.

All rights reserved.Sister Bibi Noel Ngalula Kabale, of the Kasa-Vubu Ward in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, has served as a seminary teacher for more than nine years. She previously served for over two years as Stake Relief Society president in the Kinshasa Stake. She is a graduate in Development Sciences and Techniques with a specialization in Social Organization. She and her husband, Brother Lomate Désiste Papy, are the parents of three adult children and one child who, sadly, passed away at the age of five. Sister Kabale speaks French and Lingala and brings extensive experience in teaching, leadership, and Church service to her new calling.

All rights reserved.Rose Naisumba, is a member of the Nansana Branch in Uganda and most recently served as Stake Young Women President. She is employed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a Seminary and Institute Coordinator. Sister Naisumba is the mother of one adult child and is raising three nieces and one nephew. She is also grandmother to three grandchildren. She resides in Nansana, Kampala, Uganda, and is dedicated to strengthening youth and supporting Church members through her leadership and service.
“I was humbled upon the announcement of this calling” Sister Naisumba asserts. “I felt inadequate, but I also remembered the teachings of Isaiah, that the Lord’s ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). This teaching strengthens and leads me to trust the Lord.”
She was also encouraged by President Thomas S. Monson’s words; “Whom the Lord calls, the Lord Qualifies.” “I know this to be true,” she states, “and it gives me hope looking beyond my own inadequacies. I know that when we are on the Lord’s errand, he will be with us, he will strengthen us, and he will build our capacities.”
“The Spirit affirms to me,” she continues, “that ‘if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work’ (Doctrine and Covenants 4:3), I have the desire and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord’s children and reach out to the hearts that yearn to feel of his spirit.”
Sister Kibale experienced many of the same feelings upon receiving her call. “The day I received the call from Elder Pieper, (Paul B. Pieper, Africa Central Area President), I said to myself: Yes, what is written in 2 Nephi 3:13, ‘And out of weakness he shall be made strong, in that day when my work shall commence among all my people, unto the restoring thee, O house of Israel, saith the Lord.’ is being fulfilled in my life. Indeed, the Lord does not always call the strong; He also calls the weak so that they too may become strong in turn. I know that callings come from our Heavenly Father, and I testify that both General Authorities and local leaders are called of God.”
Recalling her service in the Church, she recounts that since joining the Church she has served as; first a relief society instructor, then counselor, then as a relief society president. Several years later she served as the stake relief society president in the Kinshasa Stake. “These callings have changed me greatly.” She observes, “I learned so much through these organizations. I learned the love of serving my neighbor, patience, and many other fruits of the Spirit. I testify that Jesus Christ lives. He loves us, He knows each one of us, and He wants us to do His will so that we can prepare for eternal life. I also testify that President Dallin H. Oaks is a prophet called of God.”
The Church in the Africa Central Area has experienced rapid growth and with that, an increased need for faithful leaders. Elder Pieper emphasizes this need pointing out, “With the rapid growth in the number of converts in the area, it is important to call additional area organization advisers to assist in training the sister organization leaders in the new stakes and districts being created to receive these converts. We hope all quorums and organizations of the Church will focus on helping these new converts become life-long disciples by learning and living the gospel of Jesus Christ."
