The following group from South Africa had the opportunity to attend the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert featuring, Santino Fontana. The artist who brought magic to life as Prince Hans in Disney’s blockbuster film Frozen headlined this summer’s Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square’s Pioneer Day concerts. Santino Fontana joined the Choir in two gala performances entitled “A Summer Celebration of Song,” on July 18 and 19 at 8 p.m. in the Conference Center. The concerts are conducted by Mack Wilberg, music director of the Choir, and Ryan Murphy, associate music director. The demand for tickets to the Pioneer Concert by the Choir and Orchestra with guest artist Santino Fontana was overwhelming, but this special group from South Africa somehow got tickets and good seats for the performance..

The South Africa group was 'amazed' and 'moved' by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert featuring Santino Fontana. After the concert the first of many live broadcasts was made from SLC direct to South Africa. A great tribute was made to former DJ- Kansas City and songs of the restoration including "Come, Come Ye Saints" a signature song for Kansa City and Ukhozi FM were played.
