Primary Presidency

The Church has a comprehensive program for teaching children called Primary which was founded in 1878. Its purpose is to teach children the gospel of Jesus Christ and help them learn to live its principles.

In April 2021, Sister Camille N. Johnson was called as the general president of the Primary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sister Susan H. Porter and Sister Amy Wright are her first and second counselors.
