In presenting the equipment, President Helland emphasised the Church’s commitment to supporting law enforcement: "We have thirteen Articles of Faith, and one of them states that we believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honouring, and sustaining the law. We are grateful for the service and protection provided by the police. It is not always easy to be a police officer, and we understand and appreciate the sacrifices they make."

Dr. F.K. Tsidi, Assistant Regional Commissioner of Police and Deputy Regional Police Commander for the Western Region, received the items on behalf of the police force. In his acceptance of the equipment, Dr. Tsidi expressed his deep gratitude to the Church for the generous donation, which he said would greatly enhance both the operational and administrative efficiency of the police force.

President Helland explained that the donation was funded through tithing contributions made by members of the Church, noting that these contributions are entirely voluntary and represent the faith and love of those following the Lord Jesus Christ. He expressed hope that the equipment would be well maintained and serve the police well for many years and be a lasting gesture of gratitude.

In response, Dr. Tsidi assured President Helland that "The police are committed to ensuring peace and stability, and we assure you that these computers and printers will be well-maintained." He also promised that the equipment would be inscribed with The Church’s name as a lasting testament to their support.

Referencing the approximately 100 missionaries serving in the Western Region of Ghana, President Helland noted that the Church feels deeply connected to the local community. "We are part of your community and part of this work. We feel united with the people and are grateful for the police department’s service and protection."

The donation highlights the continued partnership between the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the local community, reinforcing the Church's commitment to supporting essential public services.
