First Lady of Central African Republic Hosts Elder Giraud Carrier from the Africa Central Area Presidency

We look forward to providing our support to your efforts

On Wednesday, March 12, 2025 in Bangui (Central African Republic), Elder Giraud Carrier, Second Counselor in the Africa Central Area Presidency, and his wife  Sister Giraud-Carrier, were hosted by Her Excellency Madame Tina Marguerite Touadera, the First Lady of the Central African Republic and President of the Tina Touadera Foundation, which plays an active role in several areas, including education, women's empowerment, environmental protection, health, and the fight against gender-based violence.

This meeting was an opportunity for the Church to present its various humanitarian services provided around the world and in the Central African Republic. During this meeting, Elder Giraud Carrier also introduced the First Lady to the doctrinal principles of the Church, which are centered on the family and the spiritual and temporal progress of the faithful. He also welcomed the efforts of the First Lady's foundation to help communities. “We look forward to providing our support to your efforts. Our Humanitarian Service will be able to provide support in some of your projects to help those in need,” he said.

The First Lady, in turn, welcomed the Church's support not only for its own members in the Central African Republic, but also for people of other faiths and denominations.
